Job Summary:

Harmony Jets is seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy CAMO Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the continuous airworthiness of our fleet, manage regulatory compliance, and maintain the highest standards of safety and reliability. This role involves leading the CAMO department, overseeing compliance, and fostering a safety-first culture within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:


Continuous Airworthiness Management:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive airworthiness management policies and procedures.

  • Ensure all aircraft are compliant and fit for service.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date aircraft technical records and documentation.

  • Update and enforce compliance with company manuals as necessary.

  • Stay current with legislative changes and ensure timely implementation of updated measures.

  • Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, company manuals, and best operational practices.

  • Ensure the Certificate of Airworthiness for all managed aircraft remains valid at all times.


Maintenance Planning and Coordination:

  • Develop and manage detailed maintenance plans and schedules for the fleet.

  • Coordinate both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities with maintenance organizations.

  • Ensure timely availability of parts, tools, and personnel for maintenance tasks.


Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations.

  • Liaise with aviation authorities to maintain necessary approvals and certifications.

  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Monitor compliance of outsourced contracted organizations, including maintenance providers.


Project Management:

  • Lead projects related to aircraft modifications, upgrades, and maintenance improvements.

  • Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.

  • Track project progress and report status to stakeholders.

  • Ensure effective usage and optimization of IT systems.


Safety and Quality Assurance:

  • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

  • Implement and manage safety management systems (SMS) and quality assurance programs.

  • Investigate and resolve airworthiness issues or incidents.

  • Conduct systematic exercises to identify and mitigate threats to aircraft safety.

  • Support the company’s technical auditors by providing necessary data and access.


Team Leadership:

  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth within the department.

  • Lead the department to maximize performance and dedication.

  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.

  • Direct all employees and managers within the department, ensuring discipline, welfare, and efficiency.

  • Ensure proper reporting and administration of mandatory occurrence reporting, and document and address any other reported occurrences.


Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Prepare budgets for department operations and training as required.

  • Provide budgets for CAMO-related costs.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Academic degree in Aeronautical Engineering or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

  • Strong knowledge of EASA regulations, particularly Part-CAMO and Part-145.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in CAMO.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written (additional French would be an advantage).

  • Proven leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent MS Office applications skills.

  • Proactive and self-motivated.

  • Previous experience with CAMO & MRO IT tools.

  • Experience in dealing with certification authorities (EASA and others).

  • Knowledge of aircraft documentation and quality management.

  • Strong commitment to flight safety.


Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel as required to oversee maintenance activities and attend meetings.

  • Flexibility to work outside regular office hours to address urgent airworthiness issues.
