Harmony Jets is an aircraft management company based in Malta, which is currently undergoing dynamic expansion and has set ambitious plans for the future.
We are currently looking for a Projects Manager, forming part of the Senior Management team, and reporting directly to the Company’s CEO, who also acts as the Accountable Manager for its Air Operators’ certificate.
You should have a background in business skills, management, budgeting and analysis. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable managing multiple tasks. You also need to be a team player and have a problem-solving aptitude.
The employment shall be on an indefinite basis and we are offering a salary that remunerates the skills and competencies of the candidate. A performance bonus will also be awarded at the end of the calendar year. The individual shall be based at the company’s offices in the Central Business District in Birkirkara.
You will be managing a number of projects which need to be addressed from time to time. It is important that you take complete ownership of these projects, and be the main contact for the projects with all the team members and also all the stakeholders. As our Project Manager, your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organisation and timeline.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects, prioritising where necessary on which projects the Company and its team should focus.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and within budget.
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Requirements and skills
Good educational background and proven working experience in similar posts. Obviously, since the Company is involved in the aviation industry, it would be ideal if you have experience in that industry.
Are self-motivated and self-driven, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
Have proven ability to manage time and workloads for maximum efficiency.
Are trustworthy and ethical, accept and deliver on responsibilities and require others to follow through on commitments.
Generates new ideas and solutions from self and others. An ability and desire to go beyond the familiar.
Be proactive, problem solver and goal-oriented.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
